This is a photograph of my daughter taken near Paris, IL at sunset. A picture I took of my daughter just before sunset in a field of mustard weed not too far from home. One of my daughters kittens that I photographed last year. So playful! I captured the image just outside of Paris, IL as the sun was setting. The beautiful young lady is a junior in high school. Behind The Lens

Location
I took this photo in a creek off of Blizzard Rd. near Marshall, IL.
Time
It was taken in late afternoon.
Lighting
I only used natural light.
Equipment
I used a Canon 5D Mark III and a Canon 135mm 2.0 lens.
Inspiration
I loved this location and was asked by my client to take some portraits in the water.
Editing
The final image was created using a combination of Lightroom and photoshop. I wanted to try something different that no one else from this area had done. So I got creative when I edited the image.
In my camera bag
I now use a Canon 5D Mark III along with my Canon 85mm 1.2 lens.
Feedback
Let your creativity flow and try something new. What's the worse that could happen? You may spend hours working on an image and not like it? Or you spend hours creating an image and it turns out being something completely different from everyone else's and you are absolutely amazed. Just be yourself and have fun doing what you love to do.
