Behind The Lens
Location
In a field not too far from where I live, with some amazing hills giving you a view of a lot of landmarks in London.Time
Sometime around 6pm.Lighting
It just stopped raining and the sun beams were coming out from behind the clouds. It was pretty amazing.Equipment
My Canon 1100d, a 18-55mm lens and a tripod with a cable release.Inspiration
I wanted to try photographing something new as I usually stick to wildlife, and aimed to create something almost dream like. I have also been seeing quite a lot of levitation shots around, and they seemed like so much fun to produce so I made my somewhat reluctant sister (model) jump around and somehow in the process we gravitated into this pose.Editing
Yeah, in Lightroom - basic adjustments in highlights, contrast etc.In my camera bag
Canon 1100d, Canon 70-300mm and a 18-55mm lens, sometimes a 105mm macro lens if I'm going to shoot insects, cleaning equipment and my tripod firmly attached to my bag.Feedback
Don't get discouraged by the weather! The model and I had to cycle to the location and it started raining halfway through, yet rather than turning back, we carried on and then got to witness some wonderful clouds and lightning up that hill.
