Location
I took this image in Inverness high street which is in North East Scotland.Time
It was around 1pm so the lighting was perfect despite it being over cast.Lighting
I used all natural lighting. I prefer it for shadows and getting an almost natural look to my pictures.Equipment
I used a Canon 1100D with a standard Kit lens attached. I was still learning so I didn't have much equipment.Inspiration
We had been playing around with the hat and tried out different poses. We stopped for a break and the beautiful Neva was sat spinning the hat around. All I had to do was get in the right position.Editing
For processing I used Photoshop raw. First I upped the saturation slightly so the boots were more vibrant. I then went in and removed all the other from the rest of the image. I finished off by over clarifying the image to add a grunge effect. In my camera bag
When I took this picture I only had my Canon 100D and my kit lens. NowI have a speedlite and a sigma 75-300 lens.Feedback
My motto is to just have fun. Don't worry about trying to get "that perfect picture". If use are having fun, relaxed and just all round having a good time the picture will come naturally.
