This is an image I shot based on my interpretation of a pose from a series of Science-Fiction-Fantasy books. I deliberately avoided, however, using any of the symbolism from the stories. I thought this worked particularly well because of the model's short hair, which allowed a focus on her form. At an exhibition in Fresno, people kept commenting of the print that they thought it was a pencil drawing, which was exactly what I was aiming for.
