Behind The Lens

Location
This man is Mr. Fernando and he was having lunch at the same restaurant I was. At Caldas da Rainha City - Portugal.

Taken : October 4, 2014, 1:55 pm
Lighting
No direct sunlight. Shadow light with a dark door as background.
Equipment
Camera : Canon EOS 5D Mark III Focal Length : 70 mm Shutter Speed : 1/125 s Aperture : f/6.3 Iso : 400 No flash and no tripod.
Inspiration
I realized that the face would make an excellent portrait and talked to him about the possibility of making the picture. After lunch the portrait was made at the same restaurant door. Mr. Fernando proudly uses this photo as profile photo at Facebook.

Lightroom and Photoshop.

Feedback
I would say to always walk with a camera, walk a lot and enjoy the chance. The daily miracles are awaiting for you. Live photography with passion - without restrictions and stay focused on each image you are doing. After looking go back and look again. Visit the same sites discovering new opportunities Patience is a key. To build your own style takes a long time. Without denying all the influences that may have – must be genuine. Try to work "out of the box" and shoot each picture as if it were the last. Find inspiration looking often at books with photos of the great Masters and see many good exhibitions.
