First thought was WOW, could this be real? I am in awe! This is truly a masterpiece by God and your ability to capture it. Great eye, great shot, great location, just simply GREAT! Ha!

I like the soft focus - particularly evident in the green fields - really adds to the dreamy efect. Was that done in-camera or in post-processing?

Thank you!mostly in-camera, but with minimal retouch and processing on lightroom

Location
Val d’Orcia Village in Tuscany, Italy.Time
I arrived at the location an hour before sunrise time and this frame was taken an hour or so after sunrise, it was during the first week of January.Lighting
Tons of Rays of Light, Natural Sunlight that is.Equipment
Canon EOS 70D, Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM Lens, Filter and Tripod.Inspiration
This particular location was magical, the sun was rising just perfectly above the hill, with clouds moving to cover it partially, allowing the rays to break thru and shine for this one dramatic frame. I always wanted to come to this region and shoot around the best times, sunrise, before sunset and dusk, so I made it, and woke up super early and drove to this location from Pienza, the nearest town where I stayed the night, and wow what a natural heavenly scene I received.Editing
Yes, simple basic processing much done in Lightroom. In my camera bag
A bag full of Gears, 2 camera bodies, 3 - 4 lenses (2 wide angle, 1 telephoto, 1 prime), a tripod, filters, shutter control, and bunch of extras.Feedback
Wake up early, make sure to spare some time before the sun is out to scope out the scene and settle, have patience, with also a bit of luck (or plenty) and prayers. Don't forget to enjoy your time as well!
