While I was out walking son's dog this afternoon, I came upon this young little butterfly on the side of the road. I put my finger next to it and it climbed on my finger. So, as Mason, (the dog) and I were heading home, I had the butterfly on my finger on one hand and Mason on the leash on the other, trying not to make any fast movies. He kept on there for a good ways and then he flew back to the gravel on the road, so again I went back to pick him up and he climbed up on my finger again.
So, we got to our house and walked across our yard andI took the butterfly to one of my hanging plants and took Mason inside and grabbed my camera and put on my 100mm Macro lens. I came back outside and looked on the planter and he was gone. I was little sad, but next thing I know he was right next to me, like he was looking for me and when I put my hand out, the climbed back on it again. I was thrilled so, I proceeded to snap almost a hundred photos of him while he was on my hand and finger again.
He was in perfect shape, definately a new by, very small and perfect were his wings. soooooo pretty.
