Location
I took this photo back in the fall of 2014 at Lake Louise in Alberta Canada.Time
This shot was taken just before sunset, I was out on a hike with a buddy of mine after a fresh early fall snow storm.Lighting
The setting sun made for perfect lighting on the mountains which helped to make the reflection in the lake even more outstanding than I could have hoped for.Equipment
This was shot with a D7100 with a 16-85mm lens at f/6.3 and a shutter speed of 1/160.Inspiration
Just thought it was a great opportunity to get a great shot of the reflection of the mountains during this perfect fall day as I visited Lake Louise for my first timeEditing
For this photo I just played with the contrast and exposure a little bit, I really don't like spending more than 5mins on a photo for edits. In my camera bag
I was shooting the D7100 for a couple years, recently I have moved to the D750. Since I mainly shoot landscapes I carry wide angle lenses and a tripod with me at all timesFeedback
Just always be prepared for a great shot you never know when one will sneak up on you at a moment’s notice.
