The winter woodland landscape provides excellent photographic opportunities when the fog is around, the tree trunks are shadowy shapes and with the morning sun providing dawn lighting you have the prefect conditions to capture moody images.Equipment

Woodland scenes change rapidly in different light conditions and you need to know you woods well, literally minutes later this scene would become very ordinary and therefore aim to get out in the woodlands early and be prepared to have to scout around the that perfect location. I revisit this same location regularly and I know the different times in the different seasons where to be in this particular wood.
