Behind The Lens

Location

Yosemite National Park, USA.

Time

Lighting

The amazing and literally Golden Hour light hit the cliff face and once it moved off the waterfall, I took the shot. With the sun directly on the waterfall, it would have been over exposed. The reflection of the light in the Merced River just added to the image.

Equipment

Pentax K5, Slik Pro tripod, Sigma 18-250.

Inspiration

Yosemite offers stunning landscapes at almost every turn; this was one such scene.

Editing

Raw into Lightroom 6: crop, contrast, sharpening, white balance, etc

In my camera bag

Nikon D750, Nikkor 70-200.
