Good job on your lighting technique. The shadows paint over your subject. Great job and thank you for sharing

Location
I took this picture at the backyard of my house in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo, Brazil. I was lying at the ground with a braided chair right next to me.Time
It was 1:55 PM and it was really hot!Lighting
The lighting was the sun itself. The time of the day helped me with a very hard sun and defined shadows, creating an interesting shadow pattern on my body with high contrast. The only bad thing about that was that I had to deal with the scorching heat.Equipment
To take this shot I used a Canon T5i, a 17-50mm f/2.8 Sigma lens and a tripod. I turned the camera viewfinder to me and set the camera's timer to 10 seconds and ran away to lie on the floor and make a pose. I took more than 30 photos to finally get this one.Inspiration
I noticed that a braided chair that I have on my backyard was making a great shadow pattern at the ground, but that wasn't enough. So I decided to put my body underneath it to create something like a projection on it and be more interesting than just a shadow at the ground. The result satisfied me.Editing
Yes, I used Lightroom 5.4 to post process it. I adjusted the brightness, contrast, sharpness and turned the photo into black and white. Beside that, I removed some acne and the floor grout. In my camera bag
On my bag I normally carry my Canon T5i, two batteries, two memory cards and some lenses. I have four lenses, two form Canon and two from Sigma, for different purposes, but I try to carry only one or two, depending on what I'm going to shoot. If I don't know what I'm going to photograph or if I don't wanna take risks, I end up by carring all of the four. Beside that, some polarizer and UV filters. Depending on the subject, I carry my tripod and my reflector as well. The only thing that I can't leave out of my bag is determination. ;PFeedback
A camera, a lens, a tripod, a light source, something that produces an interesting shadow, a person and bang! You got it!
