I took that photo on a kitchen window at my patent's house.Time

I used Sony A77 and a 50mm 1.4 by SonyInspiration
I like taking photos by that window. It's perfect because it's a bay window. That means that I get some extra light on the sides. I like to be able to merge a indoor portrait with the outdoors conditions. In this case it worked perfect showing the cintrast between a sad rainy day and that wormth in sister hug.Editing
I did edit that image. I converted it to B&W and worked with lights and shadows to get the contrast and depth.In my camera bag
I have a backpack with my Sony A7 and two lenses: 85mm 1.4 and 50mm 1.4. My backpack is usually full of things for the kids such as extra clothes and toys. First I'm a mom, photography goes second.Feedback
It's very simple. All you need is a window and a pair of cute models. A rainy and cloudy day will be prefect so you don't get to strong light from the window.
