Never wanted to visit Iceland until now! Thanks. Great capture of sky colour, silky water, and majestic mountain. Love it

This photo is taken in Iceland. Like a lot of great landscape photosTime
This is one of my best photos, and i was a bit lucky with the sky. It was not planned to go there when it was sunset. It just happend we drove by. So it was around sunset. Not sure what time, becouse in iceland is very long light in the time of year I was there.Lighting
It was in the golden hour. But the great thing about iceland is that you have a very lang golden hour. (only in the summer/spring in the winter you have almost no sunlight) More like golden hours.Equipment
I used a canon 5dM2 with 70-105 lens and a 10 stop filter to get the long exposureInspiration
The photographer Karl Taylor inspired to go to iceland. This was my first real photovacation and with a new camera. Al lot of pictures on 500px and viewbug inspired me to take this kind of shotsEditing
Yes I did. I made the image sharper, and give it what more color. In my camera bag
Not much, I am not a pro so its very expensive for me. I normally have a Canon 5dM2 with a Canon 70-105L and a Sigma 70-200 2.8 and with a 2.0 converter. Also have the famous canon 50mm 1.8. Also have a portable flash unit. But dont use it that much.Feedback
Go to Iceland! ;) Great country. Think one of the best countrys to take landscape photos. More tips, use a UV filter till you have the perfect shot. So you dont have water druples on your lens.
