Location
I took this photo from my front porch. We live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley very near the Shenandoah National Park. We are surrounded by wildlife here. If the National Park has any type of animal, we too have them right here at our house. It is truly a blessing to live here.Time
It was early afternoon and I went outside for some reason and saw the bears. I ran back into the house to get the camera. I was thankful that mom and her cubs were still there. I zoomed the lens in as much as I could and clicked the shutter. I am only an amateur photographer and got lucky with an unforgettable shot.Lighting
As an amateur, I am embarrassed to say, I didn't stop to think about the light. I wanted to capture mom and her cubs.Equipment
I used my ancient Olympus Camedia 6.1 megapixel.Inspiration
My love for nature and wildlife. I was thrilled to see three bears in my front yard.Editing
No.In my camera bag
Just the camera, battery, direction book, the recharging device.Feedback
Be thankful for the opportunity to capture special conditions and animals in their natural habitat. Expect the unexpected.
