Four decades of war in Afghanistan has left many people disabled and home less. Poverty, security and lack of job opportunity are the biggest challenges. The government has failed to provide basic services to people in last 14 years since the International Coalition innovation against the terrorism.

This photo was taken in a local charity event named JAHESH. A disabled Afghan man and his daughter are waiting for their turn to receive donated foodstuff. Volunteers donated $6000 to donate foodstuff for 80 homeless and poor people at the start of Ramadan, the fasting month.
