Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a beautiful garden at Lisbon - Portugal.

Time

March 2015, at 13h28 with natural light.

Lighting

Take advantage of natural light to benefit the skin and eyes of the model . In this case the light emphasizes the brightness of her eyes and flowers/plants.

Equipment

This was shot with my Nikon 3100, lens 18-55mm.

Inspiration

The theme: Spring! This photo is part of Four Seasons Project where the color, the details and the chosen models are essential for the construction of the project.

Editing

I cleaned her skin, gave a bit of contrast, brightness added in plants and natural and artificial flowers to create a magical environment and in this picture I chose to give a pink tone in accordance with some flowers. At the end I put the butterflies and their shadows to accentuate the theme in post-production.

In my camera bag

Nikon 3100 and Nikon D90, lens 18-55mm, lens 55-200mm, sigma 70-300, 4 batteries, 3 memory cards of 16gb, 2 memory cards of 32gb, 1 memory card of 64gb and tripod.

Feedback

Just use natural light, it's more soft to the skin and don't affect the natural glow look. The post-production give that magic touch.
