What an awesome picture. I like the way you have framed the picture. Those eyes are haunting. We are so glad you have joined VB, my friend.

Thank you very much! I really enjoy fantasy and genre photographing and I feel that is my best characteristic as a photographer. Feel free to visit my site and you'll see a ton more genre photos!

Thank you for the kind words! I like to photograph what inspires me and usually what inspires me inspires others. This shot was horribly lit and it took a lot of photo manipulation to make it look this cool.

Location
In my bathroom at 4:30 in the morning the day after a movie shoot.Time
4:30 am after getting off set at 11:30 pm the night before.Lighting
Honestly, the lighting was HORRIBLE! I shot with my Canon 7D with 50mm prime lens, no light except one dim typical light bulb. Any light you see was mainly manipulated in Lightroom.Equipment
Canon 7D, 50mm prime lens, handheld aimed at my face. Wasn't sure if it was in focus or not, just shot!Inspiration
I had amazing makeup on from a film shoot the noght before that disn't have any dialogue. Didn't have any amazing photos with this look for the night so went home and recorded and photographed for 5 hours till the sun came up! Mainly just wantes as much awesome contemt with this look as possible! It was literally my 5th shoot with a DSLR ever!Editing
Most of what you see was post processing with Adobe Lightroom 4.0. Took me about 2-3 hours of manipulation or so.In my camera bag
Currently, Canon 7D, 24-70mm 2.8L, tripod, monopod, on board LED light, 430EXII, 3 memory cards and 2 batteries. I have been meaning to upgrade to Mark III and more lenses but these times are rought to make a living as a photographer so I've yet to get the in one to purchase extra equioment.Feedback
Be as CREATIVE as possible! Get every angle, use every light source at your disposal and if possible get someone to photograph for you! If not, try to learn how to setup your camera in order to take self portraits. That could have been a completely different shoot for me and saved me endless hours in post production! Other than that, have fun with it and never shoot the same thing twice!
