A revisit to a location that I photographed last year but had overlooked the image. This is an avenue of trees that line the Bregagh Road in Northern Ireland. The beech trees have been suffering in recent years and more and more gaps are appearing in the very atmospheric line up. On a recent visit I noticed that new saplings have been planted but will take a long time to bridge the gaps left...but maybe one day it will return to its splendour.

This was taken around 8am just as the early morning mist was clearing.Lighting
