This photo was taken at the Great Northern Hotel Newcastle NSW. They have an amazing area upstairs that many photographers love to use as it looks all abandoned and worn away. It has huge windows they bring in the most amazing light.Time
This photoshoot was organised and shot for the whole morning. This image was taken around lunch time.Lighting
Natural light was used behind the amazing model but as the light did not hit her front as much as I would of like an off camera flash was also used.Equipment

The model is stunning and this photoshoot was to be a boudoir / fitness session. So we incorporated using underwear and doing a handstand to show off her beautiful body in a different way.Editing
Beauty photography is a amazing genre. Images can be highly edited or only slightly enhanced depending on what you are after. This image was enhanced by smoothing skin, editing the window behind and enhancing clarity, contrast etc.In my camera bag
I always carry my Canon 5D Mark III ( x 2), Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L and Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L as well as my canon speedlites. Additional equipment would be other lighting, tripods, my Canon EF 85mm f/1.2LFeedback
Watch your lighting, if the model has heels on she may need help but their friend or if you are to help them please ask permission. I had to help the model get into a comfortable position before capturing this image.
