I can't help but think of the story "The Princess and the Frog". For such unusual looking creatures, there is a cuteness about them. The pond was loaded with these amphibians, and I could not help it but to stop and grab a shot. Glad I did, the light was hitting the pond just right. Nature is not just nature without the sounds of frogs in the ponds and lakes. There is a curtain tranquility that comes with the sounds of the frogs in the wilderness.
