"Colorado"

This shot started out on the shore of Vega Reservoir, then progressed towards the water, then a little further into the water, until eventually I was waste deep in the lake with the tripod-camera, and the FJ was partially in the lake as well. The weather was around 43 degrees, so I imagine the water was several degrees colder than that, but not a complaint to get this shot..

I am very fortunate to live in such fantastic country.

Vega Reservoir is one of over 300 lakes on the Grand Mesa, near Grand Junction Colorado. It is considered to be the largest flat-top mountain in the world, and reaching a max elevation of 11,333 feet.
