Location
Done in my studio in Warsaw.Time
Picture taken on 28th of May 2014, 3:30 PMLighting
The easiest part is the baclight. Just savage translucent foil backlighted by studio lamp + honeycomb grid + color gel. To catch this little red lights on the edges of broken glasses I had to use 2 snoots with grid and red gel. Red pieces of glass at the bottom was made on second exposure.Equipment
Nikon D800 with Nikkor 16-35mm on Manfrotto tripod, 3 studio flashes, color gels, snoots, grid.Inspiration
I like to add some creative spark to product photography. Idea of series shots done with vodka glasses came to my mind after during watching of typical product shots with vodka - most of them are similar, I wanted to add something unexpected to this.Editing
Small corretions in contrast. Combination of two exposures for red sparks in the bottom. In my camera bag
For product photography I work in the studio, so there is a tons of stuff - studio lamps, light modifiers, filters, softboxes, backgrounds etc.Feedback
Work the scene, try look from not obvious point of view. Work with ligt and try to be laser precise.
