Being a "NASA/ Space Shuttle Geek", and having already covered 2 Shuttle Launches, I wanted to photograph the Shuttle while on piggy back to it's 747. Hearing about the Discovery flying into Dulles (Found out April 16) the following day, I grabbed my camera, and jumped in the car and drove the 4 1/2 hrs to DC to be able to capture this photo. While standing on the rooftop of the parking garage, Discovery made several low flying passes over the airport prior to landing at Dulles. It was such a fantastic feeling being able to capture part of the NASA/Shuttle history. (I had photographed Discovery's Night Launch Dec 9, 2006 from the VIP Viewing Area at Banana Creek, so it was like this journey had come full circle for me).Editing

Can Not be duplicated anymore :( The Space Shuttle Program has ended and the shuttles are now in their forever homes...
