Location
The portrait was created in the winter time in my studio, the background was photographed 2 years prior to the portrait, in the fall.Time
The background was photographed in the later part of the afternoon. The portrait was photographed at noon.Lighting
The portrait was lit by one speed light using a beauty dish.Equipment
The portrait was shot with Nikon D600, 50 mm lens, SB900 for lighting.Inspiration
This image was inspired by Russian classic "Anna Karenina". I knew how I wanted it to look, I've purchase and created the outfit, and was waiting to find a model whose face to me represented Anna Karenina.Editing
Post processing included compositing two images together, blending them better for lighting and importance of elements. In my camera bag
A camera and my nifty-fifty is the minimum.Feedback
I think planning for the final image, rather than hoping to wing it is the best practice when creating conceptual photoshoot.
