Location
This photo was taken on my last trip to New Zealand where I was driving around the central plateau on a beautiful spring day. I had to take a shot from the road of Mt. Ngauruhoe in all its splendour.Time
This photo was taken the 25th Aug 2005 mid morning. The air was crisp and clear and the sky so blue with no clouds to be seen.Lighting
The colours of the blue sky, the brown and green scrub with the white snow in between was so vibrant I had to capture the scene.Equipment
The camera was a Konica Minolta DiMage Z3 handheld.Inspiration
I love the mountains and on such a beautiful day, I had to take the drive down to see what I could capture. With the air being so clear, the light was bringing out the vibrant colours all around me and the only limitations I had was my memory card being filled up.Editing
No post-processing was usedIn my camera bag
For this trip the camera was the only thing I carried.Feedback
Take the time to smell to flowers or in other words just drive or walk and look and see. You never know what you'll find and anytime of the day can provide something special.
