Taken at Sassolungo just after an amazing thunderstorm in the Italian Dolomites. The small church there is particularly photogenic, providing a spectacular foreground to the three peaks, formerly a coral reef where the modern day Bahamas is located. Sasso Piatto, the left-hand of the three peaks has recently suffered a major rockfall on the south side, the scar is not visible at night however. The church is nicely light from a nearby refugee off frame to the right.
