Location
I live in Billings, Montana the largest city in the state. This photo was taken at my sister in laws home she lives in the middle of town a couple of blocks off one of the busiest streets in town.Time
I took this photo in the afternoon around 5pm.Lighting
Natural outdoor lighting.Equipment
Nikon D7100, 240.0 mm, no tripod, no flash. hand held.Inspiration
Got a phone call in the morning from my sister in law telling me a deer in the area had just given birth to a fawn and it was in her yard. I was at work so I was unable to head over to take photos. I called her after I got off and it was gone. Then heard from her again later in the day saying it was back. Mother was no where to be found. Headed over and got some photos. Mother came back a couple hours later.Editing
The only post-processing I usually do is maybe a little highlight if needed. Sharpen the pic a bit. I'm not much on editing. In my camera bag
I carry three lenses. 18-55mm, 55-200mm, 70-300mm. I keep it light and simple.Feedback
Keep it simple. Sometimes less is more. And always respect wildlife. Get your shot then move on so they don't feel threatened.
