Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at my local town's Annual Kite Festival. It's held on a recreational field on the estuary of the River Exe.

Time

Taken about mid morning on a beautiful summer's day.

Lighting

We had clear weather that day with enough wind to get the kites flying. Being so close to the estuary the clarity of the air is very good.

Equipment

Just my trusty Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200

Inspiration

The dragon just look so magnificent as it raised up into the air. There was a second one in green but unfortunately one of it's strings broke as it went up & it looked like the dragon had a broken neck!

Editing

No post processing at all, this is as taken

In my camera bag

I am a very lazy photographer & only tend to carry my camera. It's light enough to carry around with me. I do have a tripod in the boot of my car but it does tend to stay there.

Feedback

Just take what you see. Many good images are spur on the moment shots & not over thought.
