This image was captured by holding the macro lens of my camera about 12 inches away from a bubbled-based and patterned sided Finnish-made 'Iitala' brand clear glass bowl, and pointing the bowl towards my front garden, on a fine, sunny day. Each bubble contains a mirrored view of the sky, the front of my home, and some contain the red from a nearby flowering Azalea - all of which are displayed upside down, due to the way the scene is refracted in the bubbles. The shades of pinks, creams and browns in the bowl are from the various bushes and flowering shrubs in my garden. The blue is from the sky. After the image was captured, it was processed in Photoshop, where the levels were adjusted, the saturation and contrast increased, and then it was slightly sharpened.....with the aim of making the image 'pop'.
