This is a photo of a mature spherical wild weed head often called CLOCKS or BLOWBALLS. Making this photo in the middle of the day, necessitated getting low so that my camera and lens could “see” the sun. This natural light from the sun was bright, very harsh, forcing placement of the sun at the top or almost out of my image. It was also a goal using a UV filter to have no aberrations across the lens in the photo to allow the almost X-Ray look into the spherical ball of this majestic weed...
