Location
This photo was taken on the hill just West of my house. I love this old barn and always imagined a beautiful storm in the background. I couldn't miss the opportunity this storm presented with the beautiful double rainbow.Time
This photo was shot at my favorite time of day. Just before the sun sets. I was facing east toward the clouds while behind me the sun shone gold through a clearing west sky.Lighting
Only natural light was used in this image. The sunset provided a gorgeous golden glow on the front of the barn and the greenery was bright and crisp.Equipment
This is a series of three images shot with my Canon 60D and Rokinon fisheye lens hand held.Inspiration
The double rainbow was too gorgeous not to capture and the light from the sunset was so beautiful in contrast to the dark could East sky.Editing
In post processing, I merged the three images to create an HDR image and removed my shadow. No other adjustments were made other than my watermark and resizing.In my camera bag
I carry my Canon 5D Mark ii, Canon 60D, Canon 24-70mm f/ 2.8, 70-200mm, 50mm f/ 1.4, and my fisheye. I also carry several speed lights and a tripod or two.Feedback
