Behind The Lens

Location

This is the narrow gauge railway in Durango, Colorado.

Time

AMThis is about 9AM. A beautiful morning and we are about to board to ride to Silverton, Colorado.

Lighting

A. gorgeous morning, hardly a cloud in the sky. Durango is above 6500' altitude it is easy to have a super morning.

Equipment

Some time ago when I was using a NIKON D80; ISO = 400; F=4.5; shutter = 1/180.

Inspiration

I am a fan of the old steam engines and was taken with the amount of ambition used to take care of the engine.

Editing

No post was utilized.

In my camera bag

Now, I have switched to a CANON RP mirrorless, full frame with a 24-240 lens. I sometimes carry a CANON 50-600 for some shots.

Feedback

Pay attention to your surroundings. There is almost everywhere and all the time something interesting happening. All you need to do is look for the activity that is 'normal' that people just ignore.
