Record breaking heat, 95 degrees Spring in L.A. View from Runyon Canyon into the Hollywood Hills. It was so hot, this tree was the only shade I could find a break on the desert hike. This pretty scene between the two lowly trees was a pleasant surprise. The Hollywood Sign is visible in the far distance, struggling for attention against the L.A. smog. It amazes me how these beautiful homes seem to make the hills come to life.
