Location
This picture was taken in my Studio based in Germany.Time
Well it was in studio so time doesn't really matter. But it was late afternoon.Lighting
i used an octagons soft box to get this soft diffused light while beauty dish would have been a bit too contrasty and I also use a Zebra reflector bellow just like a clamshell and a black board on her right and left side for a little contrast to enhance her facial features.Equipment
A Nikon D810, Nikkor 85mm lenseInspiration
Am a fan of Bollywood and all those bling bling colorful Cloth and jewelries. I had those jewelries in my studio and I wanted to create a Bollywood look but still keeping my style and having this erotic touch with it.Editing
Yes I did retouched the skin and the hair well all what goes in a beauty retouch. But she is a beautiful lady anyway :-)In my camera bag
I always travel with my D810, Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8, Nikkor 50mm 1.4, and two SB910 (which I rarely use). Remote sync.Feedback
Bollywood kind Photoshoot is not something you would spontaneously get in action. It involved quit a few research about the cultures the jewelries, preparations and also a good make-up artist which in my case I did the styling as well. Yes am also a visagist/make-up artist beside Photography. The make-up and the jewelries would be the most important I would say beside having a good model with facial expression. I had several shot to get the best one so even as a professional it takes lots of time and practice to get a master piece. :-)
