congrats! great image with lots of action!, one of the reasons, besides it being a good shot, it is the basic editing you did, not over done, just right! well-done again!

Location
This photo was taken in Westerland/Sylt, an island in northern Germany, located in the Northsea. Once in a year, the Windsurf Worldcup stops here. The photo was taken during a heat in the wave-riding competiton.Time
It was about noon. It was very cloudy, no sun was shining.Lighting
Only natural light. It was cloudy, no sunshine.Equipment
Nikon D4 with 500 f4 VR, Gitzo Tripod, Wimberly II Head.Inspiration
I want to shoot action! In the heats there was a fight man vs. man. I´s quite difficult to capture both athlets in one capture in full action.Editing
Thre was almost no postprocessing. In my camera bag
Sports and wildlife: d4, D800, 500 f4, 300 f2,8, 70-200 f2,8 , 24-70 f2,8, 14-24 f2,8. Tripod, Wimberly Head, Memory cards, Spare BatteryFeedback
See and learn! When you understand what the athlets are doing next, you have an advantage. Look with one eye through the viewfinder and follow one athlete. Keep your other eye open! When you detect the other athlete neaby, start shooting as fast as you can! You need luck, patience, practice and skill. Don´t give up!
