Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was actually taken in my back yard. I loved the look of the light coming through the trees.

Time

It was taken around 12 or 1 o'clock in the afternoon

Lighting

It was all natural lighting I tried with a speedlight but I didn't like the hard effect of my skin.

Equipment

I was using my first camera at the time a Canon Rebel xs with a 50 1.4 mm lens. I didn't have a tripod actually I brought out a small table to balance the camera.

Inspiration

I've seen objects floating done before and I always loved the idea and concept. Also I wanted to test my photoshop skills.

Editing

I did do a lot of post. for the paper plans I took two images and warped them to look differend added some blur and the colors I made very cool. I thought it fit well with the mood

In my camera bag

My Canon 6D, Canon 24-105 ,Canon 50 1.4 mm lens a Canon 70-300mm lens. Also a energizer flash. I usually carry around my wacom tablet as well, and extra batteries

Feedback

Have a good idea, and plan if there is no planing its less likely to work out. also if something in photoshop isn't working, stop take a break leave the computer and cone back to it fresh eyes are always better also a clear mind will help! :) like I said floating objects has been done before so just make it your own and be creative! :)
