The C&O Canal, just below Riley's Lock. I was completing a bike ride with a MeetUp group and saw this low-angle light of the late afternoon sun illuminating rays of pollen in a green cavern. The layer of pollen on the water provided a canvas for the shadows while the water provided the reflection.

Thank you. I feel lucky to have come upon this scene. Climbing from the bike trail/canal towpath down to the water's edge was like entering a green cave made of light.
