Location
It's Toronto downtown location, not far away from Union station - a place with great traffic, amazing streets and old buildings.Time
It was between 4 and 6PM when light gives such an amazing shadow.Lighting
As I mentioned the photo was taken between 4 and 6PM. I was waiting for green light for pedestrians when I noticed that shadow "painted" perfect angle.Equipment
This was shot on Canon 70D, with a 40mm Canon lens. No other equipment was involved as it was during day with perfect light condition.Inspiration
I am always wondering where people are going, why they are in rush and what thoughts they may have. Quo Vadis?Editing
I used Silver Efex Pro - a very handy program (and it's free now) to develop my capture in black&white. Overall I did just minor corrections. In my camera bag
The first thing I always pack is Canon 70D. I love working with an 11-18mm Tokina lens for landscaping. Or I'd pick up 50mm or 40 mm Canon prime lens for street photography. Depends where I am:)Feedback
Be curious about your city. Be patient. Look for streets you feel comfortable to shoot and find out what time of the day give you the best lighting condition. Good luck!
