Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken in Riga,Latvia
Time
It was evening or night. But as you can see it is already dark.
Lighting
Me and my girlfriend are living near this place, and there is really beautiful light from the lamp in the dark. Therefore we decided to make couple of pictures to remember examinations in her University
Equipment
I used 5d canon camera with 24-105 kit lens and tripod
Inspiration
As I wrote before we decided to take some pictures with my girlfriend in memory for her exams in University. She was studied a lot at this time.
Editing
Firstly I made some crop and convert picture to black and white. After that I played a little bit with contrast, shadows, highlights. And final touch -I used bi-color filter.
In my camera bag
I have my old Canon 5d with my 35L 1.4 and 85 1.8.
Feedback
Just try to do it in your own way. Every photographer has his own eye and this is beautiful. But when you are shooting in the night often there are some problems with shadows and highlights. So it is better to take some pictures with different exposition and shoot it in RAW format.
