This is a photo of my husband I took 3 years ago at Lake Michigan. It was a gloomy day, the lake was frozen, and it was the day my husband's grandfather was buried. He really loved his grandpa and was truly sad he never had the chance to introduce me to him (we lived in IL). I didn't have a wide angle lens and wanted to convey the longing feel so I made this composite out of 3 photos.
PS: this was a view behind his grandpa's lake house where he shared many memories with him during summer holidays.
