Location
The photo was taken in the City of Den Bosch in The Netherlands.Time
I did spend a day for a trip in the city and at the end of the day the clouds became great and beautiful. Iwas thinking about a long exposure picture of this building and I mounted my 10 stops filter on to my wide angle lens.Lighting
This is a long exposure shot and I had great light in the back, so this building was beautifully exposed.Equipment
I used the Sony A700 with a Sigma width angle lens (10-20mm) on a tripod wit a B+W 10stops filter.Inspiration
I was inspired by the movement of the clouds. I thought that if the clouds move and the building stays still, I can put this beautifully on the picture.Editing
Post-processing is a must with pictures like this, I work with lightroom and converted this picture in black and white. In my camera bag
This picture is shot with a Sony A700 but I am not using this camera any more now I take my pictures with the Sony A77. I have al kinds of lenses in my camera bag form macro till telezoom lenses of the brand Sigma and Sony.Feedback
If you want to take a long exposure picture, always use a tripod that is firm enough and stable. Also read the sky there must be an intersting sky with clouds to take the picture, clouds must also have a certain Movement of speed to capture it nicely in a long exposure picture.
