Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at my studio.

Time

It was an afternoon setting.

Lighting

One large soft-box.

Equipment

60mm Canon 7D and a Strobe.

Inspiration

The subject inspired the image. Chris is a musician here in Omaha. He has a large following. We worked on a couple projects and I knew I wanted to capture his spirit. You can see more on Chris and this shoot in a short film at https://youtu.be/Rv_2FLw3HVI

Editing

a little lightroom

In my camera bag

7D 2 flashes 60mm, 70-200, 28-70 and a 10mm fisheye

Feedback

I find it helpful to get your basic settings down imagine the subject in total darkness then start to create with your light, With an image like this less is more.
