McDowell Creek winds through the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in Linn County, Oregon. McDowell Creek Park contains four waterfalls created by the creek before it flows into the Santiam River. We call this the wading pool, as the water is shallow enough for our granddaughters to wade safely here. It is near the footbridge by the lower parking lot.
