This is one of my first HDR images that I shot back in 2009. I approached this spot for the first time and I read that you need a wide angle to get the whole arch in and they are right. I shot this with the Sigma fish-eye lens to cover the width and at f-22 to get the star burst.

About Mesa Arch:
Mesa Arch spans 90 feet and stands thousands of feet above the Colorado River gorge. For a few moments at sunrise the underside of the arch glows dramatically red and orange.
