This photo was taken at Blue Springs Park in Volusia County, FloridaTime
This photo was taken in the early morning hours of a cold Florida morning on January 2, 2015.Lighting
This photo is one of the unique sunrise photos I've taken because of the fog that we rarely get here in Central Florida. The sun was rising to the photo's left which illuminated the fog over the water.Equipment
I used my one year old Cannon Rebel T3i with no tripod and no flash.Inspiration
I was depressed as my football team had just lost the first CFP game, so I woke up early and drove out on a cold morning in hopes of capturing some manatees. The trip started slowly until I saw this ranger head out in his canoe and so I snapped one shot, and the rest is history as everything about this photo was right!Editing
Never, this photo is raw!In my camera bag
My Cannon Rebel 3Ti with 3 lenses (55-250 mm, 18-55 mm, and my macro 35 mm), 3 batteries, tripod, 3 SD cards (8, 32, and 64 GB), lens cleaning kit, and my SD card readerFeedback
I would say even though you may not want to get from under the covers, if you are on a lake or river during the cold months, go out before sunrise and you can capture some great photos of the sun, water, and fog!
