Behind The Lens

Location

It was in my back yard in London.

Time

The pic was shot in July. The name of this moon was called the Buck Moon. It was between 11 & midnight while sitting in back yard with friends.

Lighting

It was shot through a telescope. I set the camera up on it's own tripod looking through the eye piece of the scope. It was so bright that I shot at ISO 200 f/4.0 1/200

Equipment

Used a Sony NEX-5 & tripod. Telescope was on it's own tripod. Both were sitting on a concrete pad. I set a 10 second timer on camera so as not to have blurring in the photo

Inspiration

I have always enjoyed looking at the moon and mysteries the surround it. It was a warm summer night and friends and myself were looking at planets and the moon. Someone asked if I could get a pic of it, so I did.

Editing

No, knowing the basics of the camera, I just set it up and shot the pic.

In my camera bag

I have several cameras and each bag in general have the camera, different size lens, filters , cleaners and a brush for any particles. I some cases an extra flash.

Feedback

Find a solid surface for the tripod. Take a pic of something you like. Also take multiple pictures so as you edit, you will have choices. When I shot the moon I probably had about 20 shots or more to go though.
