I like the thought that goes along with this simply deep image. You can curse the darkness.... Or light a candle. I'm glad you're on the Featured Page Noah.

Let there be light! :) Lovely image.
See all

Behind The Lens

Location

i live in a place featuring frequent power shortage , it was night and as usual power went out , so my mother lit the candles ,, i shot it in the kitchen ,,

Time

it was night ,,, camera juice was running so i thought why not ,,

Lighting

no nothing special ,, just the candle light

Equipment

nikon d3100 with kit lens thats all i needed or rather i had ,,

Inspiration

this happened all of a sudden , i charged the battery to shoot night sky , but unfortunately the sky was cloudy and a little bit of drizzling kept me inside ,, the fact that i cannot go outside inspired me to take this pic

Editing

just the sharpening part ,,

In my camera bag

nothing huge , just my nikon d3100 , with 18-55 mm kit lens ,,and 55-200 mm nikon telephoto lens ,,,

Feedback

try not to overexpose ,, try faster shutter speed ,, and aperture wide open to blur the background ,, thats all ,,mostly its very easy ,
