When shooting this view in Jackson Hole, Wyoming (USA), most people take the fork off the dirt road and follow it to the left to the obvious overlook with a west to southern view of the Tetons. And from that site, Hedrick Pond is then at the base ending point of and to the right of the Grand Teton. As you can see, this was not taken from that site. This view of the Grand has the expanse of the northern end of the valley with great views of Mt. Moran. A little of the blue hour is still left in this frame.
