In my garden at our cabin in Sautee-Nacoochee in the N.GA mountains. My husband and I have planted over 100 species of Native and Evergreen Azaleas and other native flowers.Time

I began photography to document the lovely wildflowers my husband and I have planted in our garden both at our cabin in Sautee and our home in Woodstock, GA. I especially love the beautiful butterfly visits! Spring when the native flowers are blooming is my favorite time of year to take pictures!Editing
I do very little post-processing. A little cropping and adjusting contrast.In my camera bag
Only use my Nikon D5000. I am a self taught amatuer with a good eye for beauty and can't paint like my parents. But I can take photographs.Feedback
You need to plant more "Native" flowers in your yard, exp. native azaleas. They bring beautiful butterflies, lovely hummingbirds & hummingbird moths and different kinds of bees and insects. All of which are a native photographers dream!!
