Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken on the side of a boggy hillside way up above Loch Lomond in Scotland, UK

Time

This was taken mid morning, on a chilly Easter weekend but with great weather.

Lighting

Whilst it was during the day, the light still had the soft golden how of winter light.

Equipment

I used a Canon 7D with a 300mm lens on a tripod

Inspiration

The eagle every now and again ruffled its feathers and I wanted to portray how beautiful its feathers were and how big the eagle was.

Editing

Basic sharpening and added a little contrast.

In my camera bag

Canon 7D, 300mm F2.8 lens with a 1.4 converter
